Jozef earned the title of Czechoslovakian National Champion six times; he also took the European Championship twice, and earned a Bronze Medal in the 1988 Olympic Games.  Jozef, along with podium-mates, Scott Hamilton and Brian Orser, are known collectively as the Class of 1984.

Known as the first man to successfully land a quadruple toe loop in competition, Jozef continues to wow figure-skating enthusiasts with his high, seemingly slow-motion jumps that clear the first several  rows of spectators.  If you have never seen Jozef perform, make it a priority!
