ALL of us LOVE this.  I modify the recipe to make it vegetarian.  I hope you find this a favorite too.

 

Jenn's Bean Casserole

 

1 large (14-15 ounce) can vegetarian baked beans

1 small can lima beans

1 small can kidney beans

1 chopped onion

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cups ketchup

1 tablespoon dry mustard

1/2 green bell pepper, chopped

1 lb ground beef or 2 large cans great northern beans

4 turkey bacon strips

 

Directions:

Brown the onion and meat if you are using it.

Mix remaining ingredients.  Add all together and place in casserole dish.

(If using the turkey bacon, place on top of the casserole the last 10-15 minutes.)

Bake at 350 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
