"I consider Jozef to be one of the best skating technicians in the world...he never ceases to amaze me."
-- Lloyd Eisler
Jozef earned the title of Czechoslovakian National Champion six times; he also took the European Championship twice, and earned a Bronze Medal in the 1984 Olympic Games. Jozef, along with podium-mates, Scott Hamilton and Brian Orser, are known collectively as the Class of 1984.
Known as the first man to successfully land a quadruple toe loop in competition, Jozef continues to wow figure-skating enthusiasts with his high, seemingly slow-motion jumps that clear the first several rows of spectators.
If you have never seen Jozef perform, make it a priority!
